Let's be honest, all of us are “lazy” to some degree. Some of us may call it shrewd or pacing ourselves but we all look for ways to get more for less. Which by the way, I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with this approach to life.

Earning On-line Income With the Least Amount of Effort

Here is the deal when it comes to making some cash from on-line business opportunities. Many of us do not have the patience and/or the know how to cash in on the variety of methods being employed by many Net users to earn some wampun for themselves. And yet some of us would like to get in on some of that action.

Let's review a few simple ideas that do not require a prodigious amount of computer knowledge. Then we will choose one and zoom in on its application.

The most common and proven applications are as follows and not in any particular order. (Some of these ideas overlap also or can be used together.)

  1. Affiliation Marketing
  2. Adsense advertisement
  3. Web Banner
  4. Forms of e-commerce (i.e ebay, or any other sales type site. Or your individual site set up to sell a product)

Let's take #1 and run with it a bit. Before we do that however let me remind you of a beautiful fact or point of interest. With few exceptions you can participate in these income making endeavors for free. The emphasis being on FREE. And as if that isn't cool enough, many of these programs or methods are set up for you. All you need to have is a site and sign on with a company that sets up the program for you, for FREE. Oh and did I mention the FREE part?

Now while there are web pages you can set up for free, it may be prudent and more flexible to look for a low cost web site to set up. They can be found fairly easily if you take a little time to look. I know of some as low as $5 a month. But I am not doing a commercial here. Trust me a simple search and you will be presented with many options.

Okay, affiliation marketing. What are we talking about here? For those just jumping on with us here, let us quickly review what an affiliation site is. Very simple actually; first understand an affiliate is an offshoot, a partner of sorts linked to your site via an advertisement.

  1. You have a web page. It can be for whatever you want it to be for. Tutorial, entertainment, retail, personal blog, a tribute to your favorite celebrity or athlete, and so on. It's your content. Text, audio, and video or a combination thereof.
  2. Volunteer your site for an affiliation. Find a company to place an ad on your page that has a link provided to their retail site. All you have to do is find someone offering the program and join. They will do the rest for you. (Note: Try and find a company related to your content or as close as possible)
  3. You manage your site and supply it with great content and people visit your site. (Which you can learn ways to increase the amount of visitors)
  4. A percentage of these people will catch a glimpse of the ad on your site and click on the link provided. You have now led them to one of your affiliates.
  5. Your affiliate will pay you for the customers you lead to them by way of an account you have set up with them.

Sweet isn't it? What are some of the benefits and attractive qualities of affiliation?

  1. Your affiliates do all the hard parts. Takes little to no effort by you.
  2. You can have fun sharing or expressing yourself and get paid to do it.
  3. It is in “play” 24 Hours a day. You don't have to be on your site. Someone can be on-line at 3am and find your site and take advantage of the affiliation link that is provided for them.
  4. The more successful it is, the more you can build on this idea or branch off into other on-line income producing concepts. You may start other web pages or invite more affiliates. (Caution: You don't want to flood one web page with an over abundance of ads. It will turn counterproductive.)

Check it out for yourself my entrepreneurial friend. Search “affiliate marketing” and you will be directed to various sites that will teach you more about it and let you know your options. It's easy and it will definitely work for you. It probably won't buy a house on the French Riviera but why not make some easy dinero for yourself? Guess what? It’s fun too!

Résumés are a critical part of any job search. They are the most effective marketing tool any of us have about who we are and what we can do. What is Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization or SEO

is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS) or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of searches, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As a marketing strategy for increasing a site's relevance, SEO considers how search algorithms work and what people search for. SEO efforts may involve a site's coding, presentation, and structure, as well as fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a site. Another class of techniques, known as black hat SEO or spamdexing, use methods such as link farms and keyword stuffing that tend to harm search engine user experience. Search engines look for sites that employ these techniques and may remove them from their indices.
